Draw a line in the sand, and focus.

Ok, so it has indeed been a while. Lets just say – holiday(s), and hell busy. Anyway, being painfully aware that the freshness here is lacking, I’ve decided it’s high time to get back on the job.
It seems to me that it’s very easy to become splintered in this industry. Not unlike Wolfswinkel from Clive Barker’s novel Abarat. Its so easy to actually miss the point of what it is we do, by the act of ‘doing’ in itself.
What I am becoming increasingly interested in is the ability to publish online content to multiple online locations, with or without a connection to the web. I did a bit of research today and finally came across a way to keep things fresh in a variety of locations – all at once. Thereby increasing potential exposure across a wide range of social marketing (as well as business) platforms. The object of course is to increase the ability to connect, and get your message out – to as many people as possible, with as little work as possible.
Thus far I’ve managed to integrate four separate web presences.
The truly mobile social and/or business platform is becoming increasingly feasible and easy to implement.
So;
BrightKite can post a note to Twitter.
Twitter in turn can update this website, and my Facebook page.
I can do all this via my iMac on broadband, my iPhone via a wireless network or 3G (if Vodafone had a reasonable plan offering that is).
Or via SMS on my iPhone.
To me – that’s kinda cool. What else can I integrate…
